The moment I decided leaving my current job, I started looking for other opportunities which I think I am qualified for. I checked sites like Odesk and Online Jobs for possible homebased job openings that I might qualify. I found two and able to go through interviews over Skype. Both were scheduled during wee hours as they are following US timings.

So, basically I had two choices: HR Recruiter and Managerial VA.  I had an initial interview with the first one that I mentioned. With the latter one, I had the usual initial interview, online exams and video call interview with the Operations Manager at 3am, Manila time, last Thursday.

It never came to my mind that I would be going back to working from home so soon. To date, I am counting the days till I call myself a WAHM again. It will be a big adjustment from my part but I am feeling good vibes, that somehow balances the situation. I know it won’t be as easy as applying a lapping compound on a surface but sure thing that everything will fall into place once I hit at least the edge of satisfaction, achievement, fulfillment and happiness which I think I have missed in the past year.

Before I have come up to this decision, I’ve carefully did my homework. Of course, I have checked with my betterhalf whether this act would not affect our financial status, at least for the time being. He gladly and willingly supported my decision and that’s what made me decide easily with no hesitations.
