My husband arrived for a 3-week vacation last Sunday night, but unfortunately, I have to be at work. I filed my unpaid leave (as I do not have leave credits available anymore) for a day and that was last Monday and another 2 days when he departs in February but it looks like that it won’t happen due to some personnel reasons. Anyway, I just hope there’d be a solution and consideration to that.

So, now that I have to be at work, I am currently facing a dilemma on time management. I still get up at half past 5am, get myself ready before my daughter so I could spend some time with my husband over breakfast. How sweet of him to prepare my breakfast this morning!

Since 7pm is too early for him for dinner, time is also adjusted a bit. My online time is also limited. Nope, he doesn’t say anything about me being online even after work but it’s my choice not to spend time with it. Then, I make sure that I sit with him for a while, while he drinks his beer and have a little talk about just anything, like how our days went, online stuff like yomega, plan for the coming weekends, before we finally call it a night.

That’s the downside of being a working mom! Less time is spent in some occasional reunion like this one!

It’s my 2nd time to lead a group to do a Christmas presentation in the Company I am currently employed at. Last year, our theme was ASAP Live, where my group gladly followed and did a similar ASAP Sessionista performance, LIVE! Our group was that serious that one of them even bought a beat box. I’m sure if we had the budget, he would even consider getting an attenuator.

This year, a theme was not given though it’s going to be held in a beach resort. I should also admit that I have given much time to my group this year due to my busy schedule at work. We have actually started practicing just yesterday and the party is already this Saturday night.

It has been a long week for Gayle and I. We spent 4 days in Quezon City, arrived Subic on Thursday morning and from there we went straight to the office to work again until 6pm.

It’s fulfilling though! Despite feeling exhausted, we get to do the things we require before heading head to Cebu next Wednesday:

• Rooming List. Check.
• Flight itineraries. Check.
• Hotel rooms. Check.
• Follow-ups. Done.

Menus are yet to be decided and some more POs to be followed up but at least things are done and set for Cebu! Here we come Bluewater Maribago!
