How to build a website
Written by Mommy Mitch on February 21, 2012 – 7:25 AMHow to build a website? Building a website could be a great challenge if you are a beginner and have no clue where to start. Before you are able to build one up, know the simple steps and requirements first so when you are finally decided what to make, you are good to go. By the time you finished reading these, I’m sure you’d have your site up in no time, with no hassle.
Step 1 – Hosting
Hosting is where you put your website and its pages. The first thing you need to do is find a Web hosting provider.
Step 2 – Register your domain
Registering a domain name is just like registering a business name. It should be:
- relevant to your content. You can’t use “Pepsiriffic” if you plan to sell Coke products. That’s absolutely unacceptable!
- catchy but simple and easy to remember. Choose something that people would remember. Always remember, domain name plays a big role in search engines.
- has the correct extension i.e. .com, .info, .net, .ph When you are done building up your website, be sure to give out the complete website address without having your readers confused whether it’s a .com or a .net. You sure don’t want them to land on a different page.
Step 3 – Plan your website Read more »

My Superfun Valentine
Written by Mommy Mitch on February 15, 2012 – 8:41 AMMy Valentine this year is a bit different. It was not just about anticipating to receive something from the big boss, friends, work colleagues and lovedones. It turned out to be a superfun Valentine with cheesy activities.
First on the list was the Papemelroti notepad and heart-shaped chocolates that I received from my immediate boss.

Paid Viewpoint – A paying survey site
Written by Mommy Mitch on February 9, 2012 – 11:30 AMGrowing kids with added expenses is hard to manage. The fact that we get taxed, it is not just enough! This is why everytime I get to know possible earning opportunities, I grab it! Just recently, through the blogpost of a fellow mommy blogger, I’ve got to know about Paid Viewpoint.
PaidViewpoint is market research paying survey site built upon 4 principles:
- They pay cash for every completed market research survey.
- They don’t screen you out once you’ve been invited into a survey.
- They have cracked the code that takes “boring” out of the survey answering experience.
- Privacy. I was not asked for my full real name upon registration.

Family Monthly Budget
Written by Mommy Mitch on February 6, 2012 – 10:30 AMOne of the many reasons why I decided to keep my job even after having 2 girls to look after to is keeping up with the family monthly budget. With the continuous price hike around the world plus the economy status, whether we like it or not, our cost of living is affected regardless the place and currency.
My husband works abroad but there are times when we still have to really stretch the budget to make the ends meet. Plus the fact that our girls are growing fast and the needs are also growing day by day. Next year, we will have to send our youngest to pre-school and that would mean additional expenses for school requirements. Meaning school snacks and miscellaneous expenses like programme, school service and add-on fees will also be added.
Some people would sometimes ask me, why do you still work when your husband provides almost everything that your household needs? Or why not give your girls a baby brother, you can afford another one anyway? And then what? Let the kids suffer for not having the best in their lives? Sure we can do that but we had to drop “most of the pleasures” that we are getting now. No more authentic Barbie dolls and branded clothes Read more »
