Receiving trophies are just like receiving gifts. You achieved something when you received awards and medals. You gained friends who treat you important when they give you gifts and remind you how special you are on every occasion.

For the last 2 days, I have received numbers of gifts from friends and officemates. They may not be too expensive but the thought that I am on their list is a big deal to me already. As we always say, it’s the thought that counts. And to me it does count a lot.

It has been a tradition in our office to do a daily exchange of gifts for a week before the Christmas break. This year we had something long, slimy, red and sexy. There is also a wishlist where you could list down your wishes for as long as it costs within the set amount and see if you get lucky if that wish will be granted on the actual day of exchange gift.

This year, the person I picked was Kuya Joel from RAD Team and the person who picked me was Zaida, also from our RAD Team, who had made yours truly happy for granting my wish, an OTTO pair of slippers, size 7, either brown, bronze or silver! Read more »
