How do you juggle it all?
Written by Mitchteryosa on July 17, 2012 – 10:34 AMGranting my husband’s request not to work and just stay at home, I did, for a year. That was 4 years ago after we came back from Bahrain for good. But as I have said many times, being a stay at home mom is not just me and not for me. Not that I don’t like spending with my kids but having a career and compensation of your own is something else.
So I went back to the corporate world and made myself busy and occupied. I have gotten more occupied the moment I was given a marketing job that requires travel at times.
Here’s now the question thrown at me “How do you juggle it all?”
I do not have a time table to follow ‘coz I don’t want to get disappointed if all fails. What I do is make up for the lost time with my kids and be with them whenever I can. It’s as simple as that. Me time comes next only if I can or I try to squeeze it in when I travel for work every after a long day.

Off to Bicol next weekend
Written by Mitchteryosa on July 14, 2012 – 8:33 AMSo my brother has finally arrived yesterday and we are scheduled to go to Bicol next weekend to see the property that he bought for the first time. I wonder how the place looks now or I’d be needing half chaps to protect my legs.
The first time I went there with my mom, the place still looks terrible with full grown grasses around. But what I loved most about the place are the fruit bearing trees like mango and coconut where I had to ask my cousin to pick some for us and eat them fresh from the tree!
I can’t wait for another adventure around that property. It’s 2.5 hectares so imagine!
