Kurdapya’s giveaway

Written by Mitchteryosa on March 30, 2011 – 10:07 AM

My favorite color is purple but I don’t have a purple bag or shoes at all. I don’t exactly remember the day when I first fell in love with a red bag and a pair of red shoes. I have 4 pairs of red shoes and unfortunately only one red bag. Thus, when I chanced upon Kurdapya’s giveaway, I didn’t think twice. I am definitely joining and will try my luck for the nth time.

Just follow these steps and you are already qualified: Read more »

Getting organized

Written by Mitchteryosa on March 30, 2011 – 8:38 AM

It’s no secret how I love taking photos especially if the subject are my daughters, plus the fact that I am a blogger, it’s just normal that photos are always found visible in each post if possible,  not to bore my readers.

As I was checking my photo folders last night, that’s the only time when I realized I gotta back them up. Soon. The soonest possible. If I am to count all of them, you won’t believe it! That also reminds me to buy custom picture frames for our studio photos.

I wish I have all the time in the world to sort these out, in fact, I still have to print hard copies of my two girls’ birthday photos last January. Aaaargh!

The clay story

Written by Mitchteryosa on March 29, 2011 – 4:26 PM

I must admit, the moment I reached home, I don’t feel like talking to anyone at times. I normally play with the kids for a short time, then rest and watch TV after dinner.

Last night, I reached at almost 7pm coz I had to collect the Busha Pants that I bought for bunso. Then straight to the kitchen with my office clothes and started cooking.

After dinner I sat on the single sofa, enjoying the teleserye Mutya when Deye came to me, squeezed herself in, and sat beside me. This was how our conversation went:

Deye: Mama, let’s play. (referring to her clay)
Me: Mamaya na, rest pa si Mama. Nakasiksik ka naman sa akin, dun ka muna sa malayo.
Deye: *Inikutan muna ako ng mata* and said “Ganyan ba ang ina magmahal? Dapat malayo?”

Obviously, I was caught by surprise and gave in… As a result, I was able to make 3 molds as per her request. Read more »

Shopping in Thailand

Written by Mitchteryosa on March 28, 2011 – 10:20 PM

If only I wasn’t worried about the allowable baggage weight, I was thinking of buying accessories and tops from Thailand and sell them off to my friends and officemates. I just thought it was a great opp that I was there already, but then carrying an excess baggage won’t be convenient plus the extra charges that I have to pay.

Anyhow, I was able to buy pasalubong for my family and some souvenir items for myself and officemates. The usual, tshirts, accessories, keychains and fridge magnets. To save a little, Gayle & I shared a few of it. I also got a flower vase for the house. It’s not that heavy that’s why I bought it. If only plant stands aren’t bulky to carry, I would’ve also bought a couple LOL! Maybe in my next visit haha!
