While I was preparing the letters for the upcoming Inauguration of our new building this coming December, I suddenly remembered that my husband & I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary on December 11 as a couple. Oooops! Sorry! Not 10th, but 11th year already. Yup, we’ve gone that far. In fact, a month before that we will be completing our 6th year wedding anniversary as well. Now I am torn whether to give him what he wanted for himself or go with the traditional wedding anniversary gifts like a steel photo frame, coz some say steel is good for those celebrating 11 years, which could also be given as token of appreciation for the special guests with a group photo opp in it.

A decade ago, weight gain was a serious problem for me. My parents would help me look for weight gain supplements, but that did nothing. I also remember during my childhood days, my mom would buy 2 pcs. of balot and  a tin of Bear Brand sterilized milk, and let me have it everyday. They even convinced my mom to give me a hair cut as some people strongly believe that the nutrition I am supposed to be getting goes to my hair. Some even said that once I get my period, everything will be okay. But these things didn’t make any difference. I remained anorexic looking until I gave birth to my first born. The problem I used to had became the opposite. There was a time when I felt so frustrated, seeing my jeans not fitting me anymore. I had to watch my diet for quite a while. Glad I look better now. Bulges are visible but quite okay compared to some ladies who are struggling to lose weight.

Not to me. Not just yet. But yeah, the iPad that my husband bought for me has now been delivered to my bestfriend’s house in the US. She’ll be carrying it with her when she comes home on the 13th next month.

My husband claims it is already his advance Christmas gift for me but I guess he forgot that our 6th wedding anniversary is just yet to come in November. In short, he still has to buy something else for me come Christmas time haha! If he gets to read this, he will for sure give a violent reaction.

This working mommy will be busy again for the next few days. Firstly, we haven’t settled with the revision of the Salesbook as yet, plus some other things that have been pending. Then, next month I will be off to Isabela with our Regional Manager for the 7th National Corn Congress. We will be sharing a booth with one of our Philippine distributors. I stay on the booth while our RM will do the networking, of course if we’d get the chance to see the beauty of Isabela (At night? Duh! I doubt!), we would. PNoy will also be there to inaugurate some corn facilities but unfortunately that would be the day to head back to Subic.

Do I sound excited? Soooo excited? Not! I’m more excited for November teehee!
