Overtime!

Written by Mitchteryosa on June 30, 2010 – 8:26 AM

The last two days of my part time sched were supposed to be enjoyed fully but then the call of duties didn’t let me. I had to stay in the office the whole day and worst, last night we stayed up until 9pm as we had to finish the project that we were asked to do for the ADB exhibit.

It was such a tiring and long day yesterday, almost a whole day training, then from 4pm till 9pm I had to stretch my patience doing the layouts for the banners and posters we are taking to the exhibit. I hope the boss approves it the soonest possible as we don’t have enough time for printing. *sigh*

Project ADB

Written by Mitchteryosa on June 27, 2010 – 2:27 PM

A week from now, we will be exhibiting our products in ADB Headquarters, Q.C. Since the forum is focused on Food Security, we  thought we’d make a new banner with a new concept “Kids securing their future”. I gathered 5-6 kids age between 2-7, both boys and girls. Since the concept targets internationally, the idea was to get different nationals. Well, not necessarily different nationals literally but their faces should somehow project different races. I managed to get chinky eyed and mestizo looking kids plus of course Deye who is a half Indian.

All because of my parents

Written by Mitchteryosa on June 25, 2010 – 11:07 PM

I’d been through a lot before I finally settled down on my own with my own family now. I had gone through a lot of trials and been with different people whether I like it or not. I worked abroad even I didn’t want to. I did it for the love of my family. Back then for a decade, I was a breadwinner. I was happy with that, knowing that the whole survived with my help and I will continue to help with the best that I can.

I used to regret for not finishing college and blame other people for not letting me passed that stage where I’d see myself march wearing a black toga. But then again, I tried to understand and weigh both the sides and there’s only one explanation that hit me “everything happened for reason”. I may not have graduated from college but I am proud where and whatever I am now. Read more »

This is really it!

Written by Mitchteryosa on June 25, 2010 – 9:20 PM

I had my first evaluation as an Assistant Marketing Manager yesterday and glad it went well. I was kinda nervous but when the boss smiled at me, I somehow forgotten the not-so-good-incident  that happened during our last night in Bohol haha!

Anyway, this morning I signed a new contract as a full time employee of GrainPro. It excites me  more thinking of the new challenges I am going to face but most especially the new assignments that the boss thinks I can handle well.

Downside, I have yet to know the status of my househelp whether she is coming back or not. Otherwise, I need a new one the soonest possible to help me attend to my kids and assist my mom while I’m gone next month.

Here’s wishing myself goodluck!
